About Us
The son of a master carpenter, Dave Armstrong has been building homes for his company, Armstrong Custom Homes, for more than 20 years. In addition to his contractor's license, Dave is also a licensed mortgage broker.
As a member of the Home Builders and Contractors Association of Brevard, Dave served as President in 1998, 2001, and 2002. He has been a Builder Director since 1991 and a Life Director since 1998.
For his involvement with the HBCA of Brevard, Dave has twice been named the Brevard Builder of the Year (2001 and 2004) and he is a recipient of the HBCA of Brevard's prestigious Eagle Award.
With FHBA, Dave has held numerous key positions, including serving as Chair of the Governmental Affairs Committee and twice serving as Area IV Builder Vice President. Dave is also a FHBA Foundation Trustee.
Within the National Association of Home Builders, Dave has served on several committees including the Custom Builders Committee and the Senior Housing Board of Trustees.
In addition to his association and professional work, Dave is actively involved in his community.
He is the Past President of the Palm Bay Rotary Club, a member of the Indialantic Rotary Club, Rotary Paul Harris Fellow, a founding member of the Palm Bay Construction Academy, and a volunteer educator with Junior Achievement of Brevard.
Dave has three adult daughters: April, Annette, and Andrea, and two grandchildren: Wesley and Megan.
